Donation Refund Policy

PACT Foundation is not obliged to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.

PACT Foundation places the utmost importance on ensuring the proper handling of your generous contributions. Once you have made a donation, please understand that we are committed to deploying those funds immediately to support our vital initiatives.

However, if you encounter any technical issues while donating online, such as a double debit or an incorrect amount entry on your part, we are ready to assist you with a refund if you notify us within 30 days of your donation. To initiate the refund process, kindly submit a formal refund request, either to our office address or via email to mission@pactfoundation.org. Along with your request, please provide evidence of the deducted donation amount, a valid PAN number, and a photocopy of your PAN card.

If you have already received a donation receipt, please ensure the original receipt is returned to our office address to facilitate the refund process.

We aim to respond to refund requests within 7 days, assuming all the required details are provided. Domestic refunds will typically take 10-12 days, while international refunds may take up to 20-25 days from the date of receiving your request.

Please be aware that all donation refunds will be issued exclusively in the name of the individual who made the original donation.

It’s important to note that if you have already received a tax exemption certificate, we may be unable to process your refund request unless it can be attributed to an error on PACT Foundation’s part. In such instances, we will arrange for the donation refund and cover any associated costs.
