PACT Foundation proudly inaugurated its latest Happy School Project at Vivekanand Dnyan Mandir High School, Keri, part of Swami Vivekanand Smruti Sangh’s Education Society. The project, designed to create vibrant learning environments in underserved schools across Goa, was officially launched by Dr Ashwin Fernandes, President & Founder of PACT Foundation.
The school received significant enhancements, which includes interactive smart boards, fresh and vibrant painting of classrooms, and refurbished benches. These upgrades aim to significantly enhance the learning experience, providing students with modern educational tools in a comfortable and inspiring setting.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by enthusiastic students, parents, teachers, and esteemed school officials. Dr Fernandes, along with Shri Namdev Arjun Gawas, Chairman of Swami Vivekanand Smruti Sangh’s Education Society, and Shri Gopinath Gawas, Incharge Headmaster of Vivekanand Dnyan Mandir High School, addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of quality education and a stimulating school environment.
In his address, Dr Ashwin Fernandes said, “Our goal through the Happy School Project is to ensure every child has access to high-quality educational resources and a vibrant atmosphere to grow, learn, and achieve their potential. Smart classrooms and improved facilities not only enhance academic outcomes but inspire students to dream bigger.”
Shri Namdev Arjun Gawas, Chairman of Swami Vivekanand Smruti Sangh’s Education Society, gave a motivating speech highlighting the collaborative efforts and community support essential in uplifting educational standards.
Highlighting academic excellence, Dr Fernandes also awarded prizes to the school’s Class 10th toppers, encouraging them to continue their dedication towards academic achievement.
The event was complemented by delightful cultural performances by the students, including a brilliant Konkani song specially dedicated to PACT Foundation, beautifully capturing the spirit and enthusiasm of the occasion.
